Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-24
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing track.cruises or the Cruise Pricing API (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What we provide
The Service is a REST API and web platform that aggregates publicly-available cruise pricing data from 9 cruise operators — Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises, and Disney Cruise Line — and normalizes it into a unified JSON schema.
3. Not affiliated with cruise operators
track.cruises operates independently. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with any of the cruise lines named above. All trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners. Prices shown are indicative and subject to change — always verify with the operator before booking.
4. API usage
4.1 Authentication
Access is available via the
RapidAPI marketplace. Subscribe to a plan to receive an API key. You are responsible for keeping your key secret. Do not share or embed it in client-side code.
4.2 Rate limits & quotas
Each subscription plan has monthly request quotas and per-minute rate limits. Exceeding them results in HTTP 429 responses. Exceeded quotas do not roll over.
4.3 Prohibited uses
You may not: (a) resell raw API responses as a competing data feed; (b) use the Service to build a competing cruise-data API; (c) attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the rate-limiting or authentication layers; (d) use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.
4.4 Derivative works
You may use API responses to power end-user products (travel agency tools, comparison sites, internal analytics, hedge-fund alt-data models, etc.). You may cache results per your subscription plan. Bulk redistribution of raw responses is not permitted without a commercial license — contact
support@track.cruises.
5. Data accuracy
Pricing data is collected continuously and updated daily to real-time depending on your plan tier. Despite our best efforts, data may contain errors, be incomplete, or become outdated. The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify prices directly with the cruise operator before making booking or financial decisions based on this data.
6. Billing and refunds
All subscriptions are billed through the RapidAPI marketplace and governed by RapidAPI's own billing terms. You may cancel at any time via your RapidAPI account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months of unused access.
7. Service availability
We target 99.5% uptime on Pro tier and 99.9% on Enterprise tier, excluding scheduled maintenance (announced at least 24 hours in advance) and force-majeure events. The Free tier is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee.
8. Account suspension
We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we detect abuse, credential sharing, resale of raw data, fraudulent payment, or any violation of these Terms. Suspensions for clear abuse are not refunded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, track.cruises and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to losses from trading, booking, or investment decisions made using Service data. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the API changelog (
/docs/api) or by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
