Caribbean in December 2026: 489 Sailings, and One Fare Starts at €160

By Track Cruises·

There are 489 Caribbean sailings currently listed for December 2026, and the lowest fare on the board sits at €160 per person. That is the whole pitch in one number. The rest of this is about what that €160 does and does not cover, and why a December date pushes the price around more than any other month in the region.

Why December prices bounce around so much

December is the most awkward month on the Caribbean calendar, and that is exactly why you can find cheap fares in it. The first half of the month is a dead zone. People are shopping, working, and saving leave for Christmas. Cruise lines hate empty cabins more than they hate low prices, so early-December departures get cut hard.

Then the holidays hit and the same ships sail full at two or three times the price. Sail on 7 December and you pay €166. Sit two weeks later and you compete with every family that booked in January. The spread between those two bookings is not small.

One warning worth stating plainly: fares jump around daily, and the numbers here are a snapshot, not a guarantee. If you see a price you like, check it against the live listing before you get attached to it.

What €160 actually gets you

It gets you a cabin and the basics. That is it. The headline fare is a room, main dining, and the ship's own entertainment. Everything else is an extra, and the extras are where the real budget lives.

  • Drinks are not in that price. Neither are specialty restaurants.

  • Shore excursions, gratuities, and Wi-Fi are billed separately.

  • Interior cabins sit at the bottom of the range. A window or balcony moves the number up fast.

  • Flights to the embarkation port are on you, and December airfare is not cheap.

Add all of that up and a €160 cruise is rarely a €160 holiday. It is still a cheap holiday, just not that cheap.

The cheapest December 2026 sailings on the board

Two ships, five dates, all under €220. Note the pattern. The 3rd, the 6th, the 7th, the 11th and the 14th all land before the holiday rush, and the two cheapest of the lot fall on the earliest week. If your calendar is flexible, that early window is where the value sits.

With 489 sailings on the board for the month, these five are simply the lowest fares listed right now, not the only Decent options. Plenty of other ships and itineraries are competing for the same cabins.

Before you hit book

Check what the fare excludes before you compare it to anything else, and check the cancellation terms, because December weather and December flights both misbehave. A cheap cabin on a bad date is not a bargain.

If the price holds and the dates work, €160 to €219 for a Caribbean sailing in December 2026 is a genuinely low entry point. Just budget for the extras, because they are coming.
