API Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-14. These terms cover the Cruise Pricing API. Use of the track.cruises website is covered by the website terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing the track.cruises Cruise Pricing API (the "Service"), through RapidAPI or with a direct key, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What we provide

The Service is a REST API that aggregates publicly-available cruise pricing data from 10 cruise operators — Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, MSC Cruises, Disney Cruise Line and AIDA Cruises — and normalizes it into a unified JSON schema.

3. Not affiliated with cruise operators

track.cruises operates independently. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with any of the cruise lines named above. All trademarks and service marks are the property of their respective owners. Prices shown are indicative and subject to change — always verify with the operator before booking.

4. API usage

4.1 Authentication

Access is available in two ways. (a) Through the RapidAPI marketplace: subscribe to a plan there and call the API with the key RapidAPI issues. (b) Directly from track.cruises: under a direct agreement we issue an API key from your track.cruises account (Dashboard → API keys), sent as Authorization: Bearer ck_live_… to https://www.track.cruises/api/public/v1. Direct keys carry the plan tier agreed in your invoice and expire at the end of the paid term. Both paths serve the same endpoints, data and limits. A request may use one path only, never both. You are responsible for keeping your key secret. Do not share it or embed it in client-side code.

4.2 Rate limits & quotas

Each subscription plan has monthly request quotas and per-minute rate limits. Exceeding them results in HTTP 429 responses. Exceeded quotas do not roll over.

4.3 Prohibited uses

You may not: (a) resell raw API responses as a competing data feed; (b) use the Service to build a competing cruise-data API; (c) attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the rate-limiting or authentication layers; (d) use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.

4.4 Derivative works

You may use API responses to power end-user products (travel agency tools, comparison sites, internal analytics, hedge-fund alt-data models, etc.). You may cache results per your subscription plan. Bulk redistribution of raw responses is not permitted without a commercial license — contact support@track.cruises.

5. Data accuracy

Pricing data is collected from the cruise lines' public websites and updated once a day. Despite our best efforts, data may contain errors, be incomplete, or become outdated. The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. Always verify prices directly with the cruise operator before making booking or financial decisions based on this data.

6. Billing and refunds

6.1 RapidAPI subscriptions

Plans bought on RapidAPI are billed monthly through the RapidAPI marketplace and governed by RapidAPI's own billing terms. You may cancel at any time via your RapidAPI account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months of unused access.

6.2 Direct agreements

Direct API access is offered monthly or annually. Monthly: we invoice each month in advance at the monthly list price of the agreed plan, and either party may end the agreement with 30 days' notice by email. Annual: we invoice the full year in advance at the annual price published for the agreed plan (ten times the monthly list price, i.e. two months free), and annual fees are not refundable for the unused part of the term. In both cases access starts when the first invoice is paid, and the key expires at the end of the paid term unless renewed by a new invoice. Direct agreements may add plan options that RapidAPI does not carry (such as a commercial redistribution licence under 4.4); those options and their price are stated in the invoice.

7. Service availability

We target 99.5% uptime on the Pro and Ultra plans and 99.9% on the Mega plan, excluding scheduled maintenance (announced at least 24 hours in advance) and force-majeure events. The free plan is provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee.

8. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we detect abuse, credential sharing, resale of raw data, fraudulent payment, or any violation of these Terms. Suspensions for clear abuse are not refunded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, track.cruises and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to losses from trading, booking, or investment decisions made using Service data. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the API changelog (/docs/api) or by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The courts of Verona, Italy, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute with customers acting for business purposes. If you use the Service as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts where you live.

12. Provider and contact

The Service is provided by Serghei Culesov (impresa individuale), trading as Track Cruises, Via Angelo Scarsellini 32, 37123 Verona (VR), Italia. VAT number (Partita IVA) 01696350550, REA VR-469816. Questions, abuse reports, or DPA requests: support@track.cruises.
